We are looking for highly competent and motivated Namibian to fill the following position:

Position: National Manager – Finance and Administration
Duty Station: Windhoek

Key Performance Areas:

Facilitates and develops all the financial management function of Namibia Red Cross Society to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of such process and systems by:
-          Ensuring adherence to National Tax Laws, GAAP and IFRS.
-          Coordinating the overall acquisition and effective utilization of resources of Namibia Red Cross Society.
-          Coordinates the formulation of financial management accounting policies by providing directives and guidance.
-          Enforces adherence to effective and efficient logistics procedures by Regional Officers and other beneficiaries and prompt delivery.
-          Monitors and ensures that structures, policies and procedures are strict and not exposed to malpractices and abuse.
-          Carry out budgeting, budget monitoring and management accounting reporting
-          Knowledge of donor funding financial systems
-          Report at board level
-          Implement internal controls
-          Ensures that financial staff are competent nationwide and that set standards and targets are achieved.
-          Ensures that all necessary financial information for funding proposals and donor reports are available and accessible to ensure transfer of funds and cashflow maintenance.
-          Coordinate with donors on financial matters
-          Performs any other functions as and when required by the Secretary General

      Requirements for the Position:

-          Bachelor Degree in Accounting or B.Com Degree in financial and management accounting or equivalent qualifications.

-          CA/CPA/CIMA/SAICA qualification will be an added advantage.

-          Five years experience in financial management accounting field at management level
-          Broad based knowledge of finances and management accounting principles, planning and control systems.
-          Self-directive,innovativeness,emotional maturity
