Sport has been identified as an activity which promotes the
development of physical and social skills and contributes to the empowerment
and social responsibility of young people. The Namibian Football Association
NFA Women’s Department has been working actively to promote and enhance these
attributes to ensure the continued growth and success of women’s soccer in
Namibia.
One programme component is the NFA Girls Centre in
Katutura.The objectives of the centre are to empower and support girls and
young women through sport as well as to create safe spaces for their wellbeing.
The centre provides accommodation facilities for endangered girls as well as
space to meet for members of the surrounding communities.NFA is looking for an
experienced Manager for the Head of Centre position.
TASKS
Administration:
-
Managing all processes related to the live-in
section and the community-section of the centre.
-
Organizing all administrative and logistical
aspects of the Center.
-
Managing all stakeholder relationships with
government institutions, NGOs and private sector including fundraising with
mentioned partners.

Implementing and maintaining procedures. administrative
systems
Finance and Commercial Management:
-
Ensure proper budgeting and cost accounting of
all activities as well as reporting
Information management and data maintenance
Public relations and promotions of the center and its
activities
Fundraising
Other duties / additional tasks as requested.
PROFILE
Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Business administration, social work or
other relevant qualification.
Professional
Experience:
At least 5 years professional experience in a comparable
position.

Profound expertise in management and
administration

In-depth understanding of financial planning and
accounting
-
A good and proactive communicator and show
sensitivity for intercultural differences and adapting to different working
environments.

Show a high degree of initiative and ability to
self-organization.

Good working knowledge of ICT technologies
(related software,phone,fax,email,internet and computer applications e.g. MS Office
-
Fluent in English oral and written.
