The USAID (United States Agency International Development) has several vacancies, detailed below.

Since 1990, the United States Agency for International Development has been partnering with Namibia to end extreme poverty and to promote resilient, democratic societies while advancing our security and prosperity. The US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) is the largest commitment ever by a single nation toward an international health initiative – a comprehensive approach to combating HIV around the world.PEPFAR employs a diverse prevention, treatment and care strategy with an emphasis on transparency and accountability for results.

USAID is seeking energized and innovative Namibians to join its team of development specialists. In collaboration with the Government of Namibia and other public and private organizations, USAID oversees and implements PEPFAR HIV/AIDS development activities within the country. These positions require that the applicants be highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

REGULAR POSITIONS

1.       PEPFAR DATA ANALYST (FSN-10): One full-time position in Windhoek
2.       SENIOR QUALITY ASSURANCE AND IMPROVEMENT ADVISOR (FSN-11): One full-time position in Windhoek.

LIMITED TERM POSITIONS

1.       QUALITY ASSURANCE AND IMPROVEMENT FIELD SPECIALISTS (FSN-10): These are two-year term positions to support the PEPFAR HIV/AIDS Treatment Acceleration Plan (TAP).The possibility of extension exists based on the final completion date of the TAP and available funds. Up to two full-time positions in Oshakati and one position in Rundu.
