Job Position: Tool Store Controller
Location: Windhoek

The Position – Reporting to the Service Section Manager the prospective candidate will support the service operation by controlling and record keeping of the issued tools, return and calibration of general and special tools as well as the issuing and control of consumables from the tool store.

Responsibilities:
  • Control access to tool store.
  • Tools issuing and managing to ensure tool availability.
  • Monitor and record loose tools value vs. spend
  • Keep calibration register and maintain.
  • Keep certification on lifting equipment and maintain all safety registers.
  • Overall neatness and housekeeping of tools store and yard.
  • Controlling/recovering consumables.
  • Register, manage and issue PPE.
  • Monthly audit submitted to supervisor based on SOR.
  • Report all tools damaged to supervisor.
  • All tools to be loaded on the tool management system and maintained.

Requirements:
  • Grade 12,
  • At least 5 years experience in a service environment.
  • Must have sound knowledge of tools.
  • Computer literacy will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Must be able to cope under work pressure and varying workloads.
  • Must be in possession of a valid driver’s license.
