Artisan: Diesel Mechanic x 1
Artisan: Auto Electrician x 1

Location: Mariental - !Aimab Superfarm

Purpose of the Position:

To perform general and mechanical repairs and maintenance work on all farming vehicles, equipment and implements to ensure maximum fleet availability.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Technical certificate N3 or N4 in Diesel Mechanics/Auto Electronics.
  • Trade certificate.
  • 2-3 years experience in mechanical repairs and maintenance.
  • Experience with farming vehicles and implements will be an added advantage.
  • Driver’s license.
Key Accountability:
  • Perform electrical, general and mechanical repairs and maintenance of agricultural and dairy machines and implements.
  • Do root cause analysis on breakdowns and perform work according to best practices.
  • Assign work to the Artisan Aid.
  • Complete work as per job card timeously and sign off on job cards.
  • Be on standby after normal working hours, over weekends and on public holidays.
