Artisan: Maintenance Controller x 1

Location: Mariental - !Aimab Superfarm

Purpose of the Position:

To perform administrative work related to all general maintenance and repair through stores and stock management, data capturing on the planned maintenance system to ensure proper stock control and effective maintenance planning and budgeting.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Grade 12 with 2-3 years’ experience working in stock and stores management.
  • SAP experience will be an added advantage.
  • 2-3 years experience in mechanical repairs and maintenance.
  • Driver’s license.
Key Accountability:

  • Plan monthly ordering of all stock items by following procurement processes.
  • Receive stock and verify against purchase order, invoice and delivery notes and report differences.
  • Check quality of stock received and reports quality concerns and low stock levels.
  • Manage damaged or expired stock according to procedure.
  • Apply stock rotation and conduct weekly stock counts.
  • Record all materials and tools supplied on the job cards.
  • Planned maintenance systems administration with regard to creation, printing, issuing materials, closing job cards and reporting.
  • Be on standby after normal working hours, over weekends and on public holidays.
