Post: Control and Instrumentation Technician
We invite suitably qualified and committed candidates to apply for the following position at the mining operation in Swakopmund, Namibia.Position is based at site mine in Swakopmund.

Purpose:
Reporting to the C&I Team Leader, the incumbent will be responsible for all aspects relating to the maintenance and optimization of the Control and Instrumentation aspects of Langer Heinrich’s operations.

Main Responsibilities:
·         Assist with installations
·         Ensure high levels of system integrity by effective maintenance
·         Execute modifications and projects for new installations
·         Liaise with outside stakeholders for required services
·         Maintain high levels of availability while controlling cost
·         Comply with risk policies, practices and procedures

Requirements:

Recognized Trade Diploma in Instrumentation Field N3 or Higher with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
Good working knowledge of digital and analog electronics, instrumentation and controls
Plant maintenance experience
Computer literate – MS Word, Excel, Project, Power Point, OnKey
Excellent interpersonal skills
Valid Code BE Drivers license
