KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• The safekeeping of vehicle and stock until delivered to clients.
• Receive, safekeeping and return of PODs to the company
• Maintain vehicle according to laid down procedures and instructions
• Returning of any overload and/or damaged goods to the company
• Adhere to company policies and procedures

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Grade 12 (NQF4) with 2 years experience in heavy vehicle driving

OR

• Grade 10 (NQF2) with 5 years experience

OTHER

• Valid driver’s code CE License
• Must have a valid GP
• Good communication skills in English and Afrikaans.

To assist the Senior Laboratory Analyst with verifying the quality of grain products.

Key functions and Responsibilities

• Complete range of basic baking tests, pasta cooking tests, research support on baked grain products.
• Conducts baking quality testing on finished products, customer complaints and non-performing wheat products.
• Conducts daily housekeeping in the bakery on equipment.
• Reports daily to the Senior Lab Analyst on results of tests performed.
• Accurate measuring against laid down specifications and work instructions.
• Accurately documenting results and clearly reporting on relevant documents
• Assist the Senior Lab Analyst in determining non-conformities and the quality of wheat products
• Carry out adhoc tasks as given by supervisor.

Minimum Qualification and Experience

• Relevant certificate (NQF 5) with six months (6) bakers experience.
• Experience in ISO and/or HACCP System would be an added advantage.

OR

• Grade 12 (NQF 4) with 12 months bakers experience.
• Experience in ISO and/or HACCP System would be an added advantage.

OTHER

• One month training in Quality Control
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Namibian Citizenship
