Personal Assistant to the Manager Comfort Gardens, Ocean View, Swakopmund

Requirements:
  • -          Strong verbal and written command of the English language
  • -          Any other languages will be an advantage
  • -          Fully computer literate in all Microsoft Office programs
  • -          Exceptional administrative and customer service skills
  • -          Proactive,assertive,innovative and creative
  • -          Drivers license Code B


Key Tasks (non-exhaustive):
  • -          Oversee the daily operations of the establishment, including making and confirming reservations, check-ins, check-outs
  • -          Greet guests upon arrival, register and assign guests to rooms
  • -          Compute bills, collect payments and handle petty cash
  • -          Ensure the smooth running of the front desk office by providing effective and efficient administrative support, including processing of daily incoming mail, dispatching of outgoing correspondence, managing telephone calls and emails, filing and record keeping
  • -          Provide high level secretarial support to the Manager by responding to requests and following up on general secretarial duties
  • -          Assist with various marketing activities as requested
  • -          Support a small team in their daily tasks in line with business needs and guest expectations (housekeeping, running errands, inspect property/rooms for proper preventive maintenance, etc)


The candidate should be a meticulous and organized person, with a diverse skill set to assist the Manager and his team in running the Bed & Breakfast.
