Namibia Roads Authority (RA) was established in Terms of Section 2 of the Roads Authority Act (Act 17 of 1999).The RA became fully operational on 1 April 2000.The RA’s mandate is to manage a safe and efficient national road network to support economic growth.

The Roads Authority (RA) invites qualified and dynamic candidates to apply for the following positions within the Engineering Business Unit:

Position: Regional Engineer

Division: Maintenance Regional Engineer,

Patterson Engineer, Patterson Grade: D5, 2x Positions

Duty Stations: Otjiwarongo and Oshakati

Purpose of the Job:

• Accountable for managing a region within the Maintenance division by providing regional planning, design and contract management services.
• Key Performance Areas:
• Manage the maintenance division within the region
• Manage the Human Resources Department within the region
• The Management and Responsibility for Regional budgets.
• Manage a safe and efficient National Road Network
• The Management and Responsibility for Regional Maintenance and Contract Administration

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• BSc Civil Engineering
• Registration as Professional Engineer or Incorporated Engineer with the Engineering Council.
• 10 years experience of which 5 years minimum within a managerial capacity.
• B Code Driving License.
