Primary Purpose of the Position:

• Performing internal audits throughout the NMI Namibia Group following a risk-based audit approach.
• Audits: Tests of controls as well as substantive audit testing.
• Writing audit reports of a high standard.
• Investigates and reports on all fraud investigations of the Group.
• Communicating with fellow auditors, audit clients and senior management.
• Preparing audit working papers of a high standard. Preparing / updating financial policies and procedures.
• Constantly improving audit techniques.
• Assist with audit related work throughout the NMI Group.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION

• B.Com (Auditing) or equivalent.
• Completed external articles.
• Extensive travelling involved
• Ambition to build a career in internal audit and be willing to study towards the CIA qualifications (Certified Internal Auditor).
• Must be able to work in a team
• Strong personal ethics.
• Good communication skills, both verbally and in written form.
• Analytical thinker.
• The successful applicant must have a passion for audit and enjoy travelling.
