Vacancy: Fitter and Turner

REQUIREMENTS (SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE)

• Academic qualification, NQF Level 3 Trade Test certificate.
• Namibian citizen
• Time and work load management skills
• Be able to work autonomous, systematically/methodically, under pressure and also show initiative.
• Four years relevant practical experience in a plant operation and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license (Code B).

FURTHER DUTIES INCLUDE AMONGST OTHERS

• Maintain all pumps, blowers, valves and other industrial machinery
• Tools and stock control.
• Assist with Mechanical Contractor supervision.
• Attend to emergencies.
• Perform standby and work overtime when required.

TWO POSITIONS ARE OFFERED FOR EACH PLANT
