Accounts Officer
Sea Rail Botswana Pty Ltd is a newly established Transport
Logistics Company based in Walvis Bay, Namibia providing supply chain and
logistics functions of container cargo between overseas countries into Botswana
and via Botswana to Southern African countries.
The organization invites suitably qualified Admin and
Accounting Specialists with a good track record to apply for position of Admin
& Accounts Officer tenable in Walvis Bay, Namibia.This position reports
directly to the Finance & Admin Manager. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for Administration and Accounting duties of the Sea Rail Dry Port.
Main Purpose of Job:
To plan, organize, control, coordinate and promote Dry Port
business of the Sea Rail Pty Ltd, through running an effective and efficient
container services at the dry port to ensure a cost-effective and a safe
delivery inter-modal rail transport service to the customer.
Position
Requirements:
Education: Degree
in Accounting or Related Business Degree.
Professional/Technical
Qualification: CIMA or ACCA Part qualifications.
Experience: Three
years working experience in a large organization.
Key Result Areas
- Timely preparation of accounts, reconciliations and variance analysis reports.
- Accurate allocation of costs.
- Adherence to financial and accounting regulations and procedures.
- Accurate and timely production of financial reports.
- Customer satisfaction.
